The 2013 Inside Edge Slo-Pitch Softball program starts now.  We need you to sign-up today so we can finalize the team selection.  Our season will start April 10th and carry on into August. The league is mixed male and female with all skill levels welcome.  This year we are shooting for 7 teams of at least 15 players.   Our regular season games will be played on the all-weather fields at Gladstone School again (Gladstone & 27th, Vancouver), on Mondays and/or Wednesdays.

We will wrap up the season with a two-day Tournament (August 17-18) in which every team has a chance to win.  The tournament will once again be played at Squint Park in Burnaby, on the weekend of August 17-18th.  The tournament  format has yet to be finalized, but we are leaning towards a format that allows every team to play every other team.  That would be 6 games for everyone plus a final game between the top 2 teams based on points earned.

At our Awards dinner & dance evening, we will honor all of our Teams for a great season and present our Team, Tournament and Individual Awards.

For those of you new to the Inside Edge Club, you will find our softball league is one of our most popular activities/events, involving more than 100 of our club members, with endless opportunities to meet new friends. Players of any level are welcome as teams are reshuffled each year. Our league is a fun league with camaraderie of the sport the number one goal. Games will probably be played on Mondays and/or Wednesdays with the occasional Tuesday night rain make-up game. After the games, socializing is encouraged at our #1 League Sponsor, the Cedar Cottage Pub, where we get to relive the amazing exploits of our evening's play.  Last year we even managed to include an outing to Nat Bailey Stadium to watch the Vancouver Canadians play, and we will be trying to fit in the same event (or a similar one) this season.
