I’d like to give my sincere thank you to the volunteers who registered for the work weekend. At our peak I believe there were 14 people including Doug and Bev, who live in Whistler, and although they don’t use the lodge came by to help. What a testament to the great members we have!
We completed a ton of work – literally a ton and then some. 1280 kg of green waste via two trips to the dump, and a third and fourth trip for landfill items and recycling. Add in all the cleaning, maintenance, repairs, stacking and wrapping firewood to dry for the season and it was a full weekend topped off by professional carpet cleaning on the Monday. You were all so awesome and enthusiastic – we made a great team.
